My name is Kelley Bevis.
I’m originally from New Orleans, Louisiana, but I have lived in
Washington, DC, for the past 8 years. I graduated with a BA in
Justice from American University, and I just finished my Masters of
Public Health from George Washington University. I’m hoping to
head to law school this fall. I work full-time, but go to the
Archives every month during extended hours.
I started out doing research
at the Archives here in DC for myself a few years ago, and decided to
offer limited research services to others as a way to help supplement
my income while I attend college. As a result, I've become
familiar with many of the service and pension files from the
Revolutionary War, War of 1812, Civil War, Spanish-American War and
others.
